After much brainstorming and research I settled on Byblos as the name for the arabic version of BigVesta that I have been working on for the past year. More pictures to come soon.

Hmm. This is Byblos with a y, and is a different reference from the Greek one. I found the OCR software though. Trademark registration is quite a tricky thing. I’ll check into it. Thanks for the hint!
I’ll post more visuals soon so you can see how things tie up within the overall design.
nice site!
suggestion: Spell the font with a “ou”, it might no be the preferred transliteration, but it might get you out of the copyright bind.
keep up the good work
Byblous? I’ll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion and the support!
or may be: B-blos…
looks gr8 so far waiting more visuals :-)
cool name and nice font
i agree with ( Hudson) about the (س)
Something to say?
A good name, but you might have difficulty if you wanted to register it as a trademark. There are already at least two Biblos fonts, and similar names can sometimes be grounds for denying registration, and there is also OCR software called Byblos, and since fonts are also software this could be treated by some registrars as grounds for denial.
The final stroke of the sin seems heavy compared to the rest of the example.
