The letterforms in САБВЭЙ are all pretty standard post-Petrine Russian letters, so ‘Latinised’ yes, but they were made that way 300 years ago.
The attempt to ape the English logotype is amusing though, in a sad way. That really doesn’t work.

I saw many ‘SUBWAYs’ in Moscow
but never saw them ‘cyrilized’ this way. :)
The ‘inventor’ of cyrillic version didn’t think much.
He just used Futura bold cyrilized by Vladimir Efimov in 90-es. :)
