An off-topic note: Tonight I decided to try to make the traditional Lebanese garlic dip so I can have a chicken and French fries sandwich like we have in Lebanon. I spent 1 hour trying to do this, starting with a small quantity, messing up all the proportions, spilling garlic pieces all over the kitchen floor, and kept adding stuff till I had way too much dip. The results? The whole apartment now stinks of garlic and I eventually had the sandwich with ketchup.
