The first day of the workshop went really well. We looked at different calligraphic style while assessing their potential as a source of inspiration for contemporary typographic work. Each participant is working on an Arabic version of an existing Latin logo and we’ve discussed the various possibilities for each adaptatio. The results are looking very interesting!!
